you could have teh coolest battle gear ever TG, and i think i would still beat you...

i like paint brushes...but only ones like the fire, checkered and a few otehrs that i think look pretty sweet...

also, there are a few petpets that i would like.....in all honesty, codestones and large sums of dubloons is what i need the most, and books and gourmet food. and dung and sludge items, as well as anything kougra or tigersquash related

the thing about petpets is that they are limited
edition. while currently you can get mallards,
snowys, feepits, and others at extremely good
prices... they WILL stop selling them in the
shops.

speaking of battle gear....
war is coming (in case you don't read the neopian
times).... a good chance to get some limited
trophies (if you battle in the war) as well as
increase your pets status.

it is worthy to mention that because war is
coming... battle gear is at a high... and only
going to increase when neopets releases "THE WAR"....

as far as paintbrushes are concerned... those
are limited too.... even the petpet ones. as i
explained to someone (i don't remember who)...
there are a ton of snoy petpet brushes and the
xmas ones really cheap right now because its
post-season. in 9 months... rest assured they
will bring top dollar (if you decide to keep
them).

another advantage to paintbrushes (even the
plain ones)... market value. people are always
wanting paintbrushes... even newbies...
you can paint, sell, or save paintbrushes. there
is no one trick over another for getting them...
i see a ton of fairy paint brushes in the trade
post... but unless you have 200k... it won't
happen. the fire paintbrush was just released...
so it is going to run high and rare. keep wishing.
i really want the electric paintbrush... but i'm
not ready to shell out hundreds of thousands for it.

personally... i like all paint brushes. i see
them as fun investments. people will always
want them... and i can use them or not.

i currently have 5 standard sized paintbrushes
and 3 petpet brushes in my inventory. these will
be used for future guild contests/quests.

4 of the 5 standard sized paintbrushes i got at
an incredible deal... i didn't buy them for me...
i bought them because i figured people in the
guild would want them.

i also managed to nab and incredibly rare petpet
off the money tree last night. i've honestly been
trying to sell it... because i figured people
wanted the paintbrushes and other items (hense
this thread). if it sells... it sells... if not,
oh well.

for some reason i have moved away from personal
conquests on neopets and focused my main attention
to the guild and the entertainment of you guys.
i appreciate the input on this thread... it will
help me determine what is more popular and what
isn't in as far as items of value.

i dont see the big deal with paintbrushes.

what i'd like are battle things so i can kick some ass and maybe some secret avatars so that i can look cool on the message board.
